Livestock Feed Request
Feed for Livestock & Agricultural Use
South County Community Services (SCCS) works to ensure that food is used to its highest and best purpose. When produce or food items no longer meet standards for human consumption or distribution, they may still be appropriate for animal feed or agricultural use. We are committed to reducing waste and supporting local farmers and ranchers whenever possible.
Farmers and livestock owners may request produce and other food items that do not meet human consumption quality standards, such as overripe produce, cosmetic-grade fruits and vegetables, or items that cannot be distributed through our food programs. Availability varies based on daily recovery volumes and food safety guidelines.
